The episode begins with trees being connected to divinity or as divine beings. RJ goes over the christian creation story, as well as the mormon relationship to the Tree of Life and the beliefs connected to it. RJ also discusses the Sefirot as another divine tree. Then they discuss the scientific tree of life which is used to track the evolution and genetics of all living creatures on earth. RJ and Elle discuss the importance of forests, including the Amazon Rainforest and the threat of climate change. Finally, RJ and Elle discuss Pando: The Trembling Giant which is the largest organism on the planet by weight and the biggest tree in the world. RJ cuts to a recording of Elle doing a reading at the Pando Aspen Clone where she performs dendromancy for a patreon subscriber.
