Have you ever felt as if you have a story to tell, but didn’t know where to start? Most people don’t understand the what steps to take to begin writing their first book, and often times get too frustrated before they get a chance to complete it. The first step when you begin to start writing is to stop criticizing yourself before the words get a chance to come out on the page. It's important to end the idea that each one of your sentences have to be absolutely perfect. It's fear that tends to hinder progression, or fear of not being able to deliver good quality. However, in order to be a good writer, you must have resilience and drive to continuously keep going. There will be days when you feel as if you have nothing to say, but don't allow "writers block" to get in the way of your progress. In order to do your best writing, you must create a writing space that’s free of noise and distractions. I recommend silencing social media, news, and phone calls during selected time blocks. This will help you to remain focus with clear thoughts for your writing style.
