Being raised in a family of faith doesn’t always mean you know who Jesus is. That was the case for Elizabeth until her senior year in high school when an invitation to a before school Bible study compelled her to ask Jesus into her life. Through the next decade she grew in relationship with Christ and found a relationship with a Christian man with whom she began to build her life. As a planner and a doer, Elizabeth felt that it was time to start a family at 30 years old and expected God to provide her with a baby since she had lived in service to Him. But her heart's desire was not being fulfilled by God and she was angry. In a moment of submission to His will, God whispered a scripture that would be the answer to her heart’s cry and the legacy that she has passed along to her children. Hear how Elizabeth has taken those living words and been comforted by the Father who understands our pain and meets us in the middle of it. This story is a lesson for all of us in humility, submission and faith.
