Do you feel supported by others? There are times in our lives when we wish we were supported more, or better, especially by our loved ones and friends. How does this happen, that those closest to us aren't always our best supporters?
Support from others, according to Missy and Chris, is all about expectations. Our expectation of how we "should" be supported, and our loved one's expectation of how well they feel they are supporting us. We need to self-define support as that influences our expectation of support.
By eliminating the "should" and accepting each other as we are in the present moment, we may realize that we are supported! Yet, maybe not in the way we "expected".
The listener challenge is found at the 27:50 mark when Missy challenges us to find a way that we can support another person. For it is in giving that we receive.
