The USC Triple-Double Podcast returns with co-hosts Shotgun Spratling and Connor Morrissette (aka Mr. Triple Double) breaking down the Women of Troy's home split against the Washington schools where the Trojans looked good for a half, terrible for two halves, good for a quarter and then not good enough for a final quarter. They also look at USC men's basketball's trying to break free from a five-game losing streak.

The Women of Troy remain slid four spots to No. 15 in the Associated Press top 25 poll after their loss to Washington. It is the lowest ranking for the Trojans since the first in-season poll was released. The struggles for the men's team continued as the Trojans lost the first iteration of the Crosstown Showdown to a UCLA team that has had similar woes as USC but seems to be improving as the stretch run of the season nears.

Shotgun and Connor break down all the latest action for both teams, including looking closely at JuJu Watkins' shooting and efficiency, discussing the possibility of Isaiah Collier sitting out longer than anticipated and focusing the spotlight on Bronny James who did not start for the first time in three weeks with Boogie Ellis returning to the starting lineup. The podcasting duo also look at the positives and negatives of the recent USC basketball action from both squads and look forward to the next week to preview what lies ahead. For the men, they prepare the Galen Center for battles with Oregon and Oregon State, who both defeated the Trojans earlier this season, while the Women of Troy get ready for a huge road trip.

USC women's head coach Lindsay Gottlieb joins the show to discuss the road trip to her old stomping grounds as the Trojans take on her former rival, Stanford and Tara VanDerveer, and her former squad at Cal, but more importantly, a fired-up Gottlieb discusses what the Women of Troy have to do to bounce back after a lackluster performance against Washington led to a disappointing loss. She discusses how the offense gets back on track and what the coaching staff is doing to monitor star freshman JuJu Watkins' usage levels.
