We don't want to impose or look weak or confused. Some think it's gender-linked to men, as many men would rather drive around lost for hours instead of asking for directions, but we know this affects everyone. When we ask for clear information, we often get big words or acronyms that we've never heard before! And when we're stressed or nervous, it's easy to get facts mixed-up, right? Clear information helps us make healthy decisions about how to proceed with our lives. What are our choices? Teachers usually encourage students to ask questions, because that's a great way to learn! It's how we figure out what's expected of us in the world when we're babies!
