Episode 45 - Pete and Will are on the road, spitballing a pitch from their car, a movie idea that can best be described as a satirical, politically incorrect, social commentary musical called "High School Shooting The Musical". Originally released March 20th, 2017. Picture this, it's 1999 and Tom Holland (Spider-man: Homecoming) plays a teenage British skinhead punk foreign exchange student attending a suburban high school for his senior year. There he encounters the American clique system of jocks, goths, nerds, hip-hoppers and stoners - each representing a style of music and all breaking out into song, just like they do in movie musicals. When the new kid is met with bullying after engaging with some of the more aggressive kids, can he preach open-minded thinking and acceptance before it escalates into tragic violence? Starring some of Young Hollywood's brightest singing actors, written by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, music by Lin-Manuel Miranda and directed by Jordan Peele comes a movie that's sure to be controversial! We present to you "HIGH SCHOOL SHOOTING THE MUSICAL" in Technicolor! Next Monday, we return with an all new episode of Pitch It Movie Podcast when Filmmaker Dino Castelli pitches "Creature From The Black Lagoon" re-imagined as an ecological disaster horror starring Vincent D'Onofrio in the titular role. https://www.podpage.com/pitchitmoviepodcast
