Through his expertise and Laidback approach, Mark Maslin approaches the subject of climate change in an engaging and informative way that makes it easy for even the climate change novice to understand.
He explains how past, present and future climate change is read, discusses the impact of the Covid 19 pandemic on the climate and what this could mean for the future, challenges the ideas around individual vs corporate responsibility, and how the real answer to solving climate change lies with governments
Professor Mark Maslin has published over 165 papers along with multiple books including: The Human Planet, Cradle of Humanity, Climate Change: A Very Short Introduction (three editions with a fourth on the way.
He is Professor of Climatology at University College London, A Royal Society Industrial Fellowship, Science Advisor to the Global Cool Foundation and the Sopria-Steria Group, Executive Director of Rezatec Ltd and Director of The London NERC Doctoral Training Partnership and a member of Cheltenham Science Festival Advisory Committee.
