MCALLEN, Texas - Rio Grande Valley Partnership President Daniel Silva recently sat down for an in-depth conversation about marketing the region with Rio Grande Guardian anchor Mark Hanna.
The Partnership has been tasked with marketing the Valley and has selected “One Region, One Voice,” as its mantra.
However, Silva said his group is not averse to promoting the Valley and northern Tamaulipas as RioPlex, a brand name adopted by Hidalgo County Prosperity Task Force and the CEO Group.
In the podcast, Silva also spoke about the Partnership’s work advocating in Washington, DC, for more federal dollars for infrastructure, and assisting Valley economic development corporations at a big retail conference in Las Vegas.
