When you think about marketing, what is the first thing that pops into your head? Social Media.. Right? We are going to expand your thought process on what exactly Marketing is and how you can utilize several tools to give your future clients a better experience therefore they are more likely to purchase from you. In Today's episode our Host Sam Ogborn dives into why she left her corporate job, started her marketing agency, launched her E-commerce business and the tools she uses daily to drive more sales. For anyone that has worked in a corporate environment it is safe to say that it can be difficult to learn or to be taught skills outside of your job title. This was a big driving force as to why Sam knew she needed to take her business full time. Sam was interested in the science behind SEO, how to rank in google and how to show up when people searched things. This curiosity has followed Sam from her corporate job to now her two businesses. As a marketing agency Sam wanted to offer other forms of marketing outside of just social media. However she did not have the experience under her belt quite yet. This is when she decided to launch her E-commerce business. This gave her the ability to better understand how to leverage SEO, paid ads and tools that we will list next!
