Humanity in healthcare rests on an awareness of patients as human beings first, and patients second. We know that being a dentist can be an exhausting job. And with so many patients coming in and out of appointments, it can be surprisingly easy to drift into a more impersonal approach to each patient who walks through your office door. But it's important to remember that to be the best dentist you can be, you must give your technical best always but also treat every patient like a human being, not a number (even when you are tired).
