Written and directed by Wes Craven, A Nightmare on Elm Street is the first instalment in the A Nightmare on Elm Street franchise and our first introduction to the man of our dreams, Freddy Krueger (Robert Englund). Rob and Jason drift off back to 1985 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of this supernatural slasher film.
