Today’s guest is Sheilah Snyder, MD, FAAP, a pediatric hospitalist and CDI physician advisor for Children’s Nebraska (formerly Children's Hospital and Medical Center) in Omaha, Nebraska. Today’s show is part of the “Conversations with Karla” series. In every episode of this series, Product Coordinator and Editor Karla Kozak is joined by a guest who’s behind one of ACDIS’ most popular and exciting educational offerings to share their expertise. During today’s episode, Dr. Snyder mentioned two papers written by pediatric CDI physician advisors and professionals and published by ACDIS. Click here to read the paper on pediatric respiratory failure and here to read the paper on pediatric heart failure. To learn more about the pediatric networking group (APDIS), click here. Our intro and outro music for the ACDIS Podcast is “medianoche” by Dee Yan-Kay and our ad music is “Take Me Higher” by Jahzzar, both obtained from the Free Music Archive. Have questions about today’s show or ideas for a future episode? Contact the ACDIS team at info@acdis.org. CEU info: Each ACDIS Podcast episode now offers 0.5 ACDIS CEUs which can be used toward recertifying your CCDS or CCDS-O credential for those who listen to the show in the first two days from the time of publication. Note that due to the holiday this week, originally the ACDIS team extended the deadline through the weekend. Due to a technical issue that rendered the survey inactive over the weekend, however, the team made a second extension.
