Critical scholarship has boldly stated that there is no evidence whatsoever to confirm the biblical account of Israel's exodus from the land of Egypt under Moses. This is the first of three episodes that explore the merits of three principal objections to the historicity and reliability of the biblical account of the exodus. In this episode, we set forth the critical challenge to the Bible's account and deal with one of three principal objections. The first objection is that nowhere in the annals of Egyptian history do we find independent confirmation of the Bible's story. Is this true? What does it tell us about the reliability of the exodus?
