Wyoming, known for its vast natural beauty and abundant fossil fuel resources, is now at the center of a heated debate over the future of transportation in the state. Recently, a proposed legislation has been introduced to the state assembly to phase out the sale of electric vehicles (EVs) by 2035. This would make Wyoming the first state in the nation to take such a drastic step, and is in direct contrast to the ending the sale of gas-powered vehicles in California, Washington, and Oregon the same year. As you can imagine, it's caused quite a stir among automakers, environmentalists, and people across the country alike.

In this episode of our podcast, we will take a closer look at the proposed ban and its potential consequences. We'll dive into the reasons behind the proposed ban, whether it is economically necessary, and its supposed impact on the state's energy independence and air quality.

Plus, why this speaks to the larger conversation that gas-powered vehicles may simply be gone but not forgotten. Major auto manufacturers are jumping in to Formula 1, a racing league with the goal of being carbon net zero by 2030 - and still run fuel. What does this mean for the future of cars made by companies like GM, Porsche, Mercedes, and more? Don't miss this important conversation on the future of transportation and energy.
