In this episode Maxwell Cooper, MD interviews Harvey Castro MD, MBA, an emergency medicine physician, serial entrepreneur, digital health advisor, and author of multiple books, including his latest book ChatGPT and Healthcare. Dr. Castro gives an overview of his career path that began as an emergency medicine physician at a county hospital in Dallas, TX before going on to starting his system of independent emergency rooms, a medical billing company, and a medical staffing company. He sold those companies and now works as a Chief Clinical Operations Officer at a telemedicine company ViTel Health and serves as an advisor to multiple digital health startups. Dr. Castro discusses his latest books about ChatGPT's applications in healthcare and how ChatGPT can empower both physicians and patients.
