Welcome to the twelfth episode of ‘The IKKIVI Podcast Season 2’. In this episode, we have with us Raquel Willis, an award-winning author and media strategist dedicated to Black transgender liberation. She is a thought leader on gender, race, and intersectionality, organizing marginalized communities for social change while using digital activism as a major tool of resistance and liberation. In this episode, we speak with her about her journey of self discovery and breaking the barriers by coming out as a black trans woman and building her own digital community from an early age. We also speak with her about her thoughts on transgender rights and advocacy, collective liberation, and the need to expose ourselves with more narratives for creating a positive impact in society.
