Dr. Cedric "Jaime" Rutland is a pulmonary and critical care physician based in Southern California. Dr. Rutland received his MD from the University of Iowa and completed his residency in internal medicine there as well. He completed his pulmonary and critical care fellowships at the University of Kansas. Dr. Rutland is the CEO and Director of West Coast Lung, and is an assistant clinical professor at UC Riverside. Dr. Rutland is a national spokesperson for the American Lung Association. Dr. Rutland runs the YouTube channel, “Medicine Deconstructed” where different medical topics are explained and taught.
