FERGIE DJ & WAYNE MCCULLOUGH - THE LOCKDOWN WITH PHIL REYNOLDS
Manage episode 300263871 series 2971794
I'm in the company of greatest this week with two of the biggest exports to come from Northern Ireland. Champions in their own right. One is a superstar DJ & the other is a Bantamweight World Champion Boxer.
Both living in the Entertainment Capital Of The World & adapting to life during the Coronavirus. The first time in a life time that Las Vegas has ever closed. This is an extended version of the Lockdown with two unbelievable success stories, the first podcast they have done together & it's really worth a listen.
A world champion boxer who fought two of boxing's best, Prince Naseem & Erik Morales & went the full distance with both of them. Never once knocked down in his professional career. From being a champion to more recently finding himself in the depths of despair & coming right back up again.
Fergie has DJ'd all over the world, since sneaking into nightclubs aged 14. To playing 250 dates a year in Vegas, to now enjoying studio life & the first downtime of his career. More recently playing to 150 thousand people at MDL BEAST. The first ever music festival to take place in Saudi Arabia.
Taking me on a road trip with a parrot (a real one). Being refused entry to Turnmills at Ministry Of Sound in London a night that he was headlining. Eventually was allowed in because he was with me. We still to this day don't know who that doorman thought I was.
Sure you know yourself.
(There is a little tiny bit of strong language - This podcast was recorded in advance of the Premier League restarting.)
