This week, we had the absolute pleasure of sitting down with Liam Stapleton, the incredibly talented radio host and fledgling TikTok superstar. You might know him from his work at Triple J or Nova where he worked alongside Ben Harvey as part of the Ben & Liam show - now Ben, Liam and Belle.
Or you might be familiar with his hilarious TikTok videos, where he impersonates Borat, seemingly the entire cast of Harry Potter and any other Englishman he can think of.
Liam walked us through his journey, from starting out on community radio to becoming a national sensation on Triple J, and now his more recent work at Nova. We got to chat about the challenges and thrills of live radio, the creativity behind their TikTok hits, and what it’s like for him to entertain and connect with a massive audience every day.
