The financial world was gearing up for today's main event: July's US producer prices. Think of it as the opening act before tomorrow's consumer price data steals the show. Both numbers are expected to confirm that the Federal Reserve will cut rates multiple times this year, starting in September. Anything else would be like finding out your favorite TV show got canceled — utterly disappointing. And thankfully, PPI data did not disappoint.
