NEW SPIN-OFF! Now at a lower latitude! Our first official episode of Your Stories South was recorded on Friday, October 11, 2019 at St. Nicholas Brewery in Du Quoin, IL. This was an incredibly fun night and we had some great talents to help us set it off right. Our theme was "South!" (please clap) in reference to life here on the southern end of Illinois. There was a fair amount of room noise during the recording but our storytellers and musicians did excellent all the same. Our house band (The Cover Me Up Trio) is Tony Baker, Kyle Triplett, and Ben Rathert. Songs: Southern Cross (Crosby, Stills & Nash) - Cover Me Up Trio City of New Orleans (Steve Goodman) - CMUT The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down (The Band) - CMUT Take Me Down (Gary Clark, Jr.) - Crystal King Storytellers: Trish Pfiefer - Southern Exposure Andrew Staff - Hiking Trails and Adjudicated Youth Nicole Stewart - Chicken and Beer Night Crystal King - Dead Hippies Versus Phish Hippies
