Today I am joined by an alumni of The Plant Protocol™ Plant-Based Certification, Jill Chestang.

Jill Chestang is a mental health provider who specializes in whole food plant-based nutrition. After discovering that several of her clients who have an unhealthy diet, also have increased symptoms of anxiety, depression, obesity, high cholesterol, and hypertension, she has made it her mission to focus on improving symptoms of anxiety and depression by helping individuals adopt a whole food plant-based lifestyle.

After years of struggling with an unhealthy relationship with food, Jill attended two of my workshops in 2018. This encounter transformed her life. Since adopting a whole food plant-based lifestyle in 2018; Jill says at age 60 she feels as if she is 35 and for the first time in her life she enjoys and craves foods that are healthy for her and she no longer experiences fatigue or bloating after her meals.

Adopting a whole food plant-based lifestyle has improved her mood and has allowed her to experience how the foods we eat can directly impact our mood. This is what she desires for her clients also. #foodforabettermood.

I am excited to share this conversation with you as Jill and I reinforce that taking a plant-based approach to optimal health is not just for our physical health, but especially for our mental health.
