Jess Seburn is a death doula, writer, and recovering stand-up comedian here in Winnipeg. As a death doula, she provides end-of-life and grief support to rebel hearts and brave weirdos. Jess’s work is all about making the conversation around death more approachable, putting compassion and dark humour into a blender and always hoping for the best. Her bona fides for this episode include writing for a local video production company, and crying so hard she has thrown up. Her work has included features in CBC, The Uniter, and The Winnipeg Free Press. In 2024, she was featured as a grief expert in CBC Gem’s, Finding Diamonds.
