As word spreads of Jake's acceptance into prestigious Evergreen Academy, doubts plague his mind over whether he possesses the magical talents to survive around supremely gifted peers. But while his mother harbors ominous warnings, his father's cheer sweeps Jake into a whirlwind celebration in the village square.
