Super Villain, Actor and now Game Show Host Tom Cavanagh..The Reverse Flash from the CW Series stops by to discuss his new gig as a Game Show Host on The Game Sow Network's new show "Hey Yahoo!" We talk about the 10 thousand dollar grand prize on the show, and some new game show twists. Later D2 tells Tom that he doesn't like his Spin Off pitch for a Reverse Flash series...but instead pitches him something else. "Hey Yahoo" can be seen on GSN Weeknights at 7pm Central Time.
Actor and Director Nick Cassavetes of "The Notebook" fame, joins the show to talk about his new flick which is out now called "God is a Bullet" This movie is a non stop thrill ride of murder, shotguns, and satanic cults.Did we mention shotguns and cults? We talk with Nick about some of his other great movies like "JohnQ" and the personal connection of his daughter, and girl dads everywhere. He didn't sem to excited to talk about the 80's flick he was in with Charlie Sheen called "The Wraith"....but don't worry, we cover that in Top Nerd News.
In Top Nerd News we start off with Sony Pictures love for BLOOD in Super Hero Origin stories...with the latest bloodborn villain "KRAVEN : The Hunter" The trailer dropped, and it's a bit underwhelming. The Flash movie drops 73% in Box Office Sales, and gets beaten by the 4 week old Spiderverse movie. San Diego Comic Con takes a gut punch when basically every studio except Amazon pulls out of the event. Hall H and the great box office teases that were once a mainstay in nerd media...is no more. Finally we take a trip in the way back machine and visit the 80's flick "The Wraith" and bask in the glory of 80's schlock. We wrap up the show as we always do with This Week in Geek History!
