In this episode I discuss how your actions are driven by emotions created by thoughts in your head. Examples of actions include overeating, over drinking or scrolling on social media, snapping at your kids, while inaction could be avoiding a challenging conversation or not exercising.

The episode includes examples of how you can choose to respond to emotions in a more mindful & controlled manner, such as acknowledging & accepting anger without acting on it.

I share my strategy for managing frustration with my children & how, by owning my nervousness & choosing how I responds, I’m able to show up as a calm and collected person, even when I’m feeling frustrated, angry or nervous.
