It’s pop culture classic time ya’ll!!! We’ve got to go to 1996 for today’s pop culture classic!! Fifteen years later, there are four sequels out right now, with another sequel hitting theaters in 2022! Not only does Scream have a special place in slasher film history, but it has spawned its own spoof movies, in the Scary Movie franchise!! Though Scream may not have spawned the original slasher film franchise, we feel like maybe it revitalized a genre for many people, especially with the stacked cast!

If you’re living under some kind of rock, and you haven’t seen any of the films in the Scream franchise, now is the time to go back and at least watch this first one! It tells the story of a serial killer(s) in a small town neighborhood, where someone is hunting school aged kids. A reporter, a police officer, and some crazy friends, what can go wrong!?
