Sophie Theodorou is a former middle school teacher from Winnipeg, Canada and is now the Director of Teacher Learning and Innovation at DesigningSchools.org, a content creator, and advisor. With a passion for making education more human-centered, she helps educators integrate AI in ways that enhance meaningful connections and creativity in the classroom. Through her platform teach2ai, Sophie empowers teachers with practical tools to save time and focus on what truly matters—engaging students and fostering critical thinking. Drawing from her experience in helping early-stage startups grow, she also advises EdTech companies on developing innovative solutions that amplify the human potential of educators and learners alike. The Human Intelligence Movement is dedicated to equipping every learner with the uniquely human skills needed to succeed and thrive in an AI-driven world. Our mission is to ensure that students are prepared to succeed in an AI world by emphasizing the importance of Human Intelligence, which includes problem-solving, creative thinking, emotional intelligence, and adaptability. Building a community is central to our goals; we bring educators, administrators, community leaders, corporate partners, political advocates, and students into physical and digital spaces to explore transforming education with a focus on Human Intelligence.
