For this episode, our host Denis O'Driscoll is joined by Joe Hughes & Karen Phoenix, founders of Lil Red's Legacy, a sepsis awareness campaign which they developed following the tragic death of their son Sean, aka Lil Red, in 2018 due to sepsis. Joe and Karen have pioneered the public awareness campaign surrounding sepsis and shared their lived experience of the signs and symptoms of sepsis.
Also joining Denis is Lorna Quigley, Programme Manager, National Infectious Diseases Programme, HSE and Michael O'Dwyer, Clinical Lead, National Programme for Sepsis, HSE.
