DURAN IS HUNGRY LIKE THE WOLF! - Aston Villa Firing On All Fronts Ahead Of Cherries Arrival
Manage episode 446546395 series 3601176
We thoroughly enjoyed our convincing and commanding win against Arsenal last weekend with the Cherries running out 2-0 victors despite a William Saliba red card (we were the better side before and after the red card in our opinion, sorry Arsenal fans) with goals thanks to a Ryan Christie stunner and a Justin Kluivert penalty he cooly slotted home.
It doesn't get easier though. Off we go to Villa Park and Birmingham to face an Aston Villa side who have shone in the Champions League (3 wins from 3 with wins over Young Boys, Bologna and some team called Bayern Munich). They also sit 4th in the Premier League. Does the sprinkling of gold dust over Villa Park look to be going away under Unai Emery. In one word. NO!
We had the pleasure of welcoming on Chad Williams from Villa4Ever to discuss the season so far, the man at the top and the men who have made a different including Morgan Rogers and Tyrone Mings who were once Cherries but have found Birmingham a far more comfortable home than Dean Court.
Can AFC Bournemouth and Andoni Iraola get a result against the side who have surprised so many. We go into depth with Chad about the strengths, weaknesses and what he thinks of the Cherries plus sorry to say we do discuss Profit and Sustainability Rules and the effect they have had.
Please, please, please do go and support Chad's charity, The Acorns Children's Hospice Trust - https://www.justgiving.com/page/michael-huggins-1728467369005?utm_medium=fundraising&utm_content=page%2Fmichael-huggins-1728467369005&utm_source=copyLink&utm_campaign=pfp-share
Thank you to Chad for joining us on this show, a real pleasure.
