The problem with some done-for-you social media services

A lot of agents want to be able to save time and they attempt to do so by hiring “done for you” marketing agencies. The problem with these companies is they use auto-poster tools that spit out random content that isn’t personalized to the agent’s sphere, expertise or local area.

How to stay top-of-mind

Real estate is not what it was 30 years ago where the agent had all the control. Now it’s all about nurturing people until they are ready to buy or sell, and staying connected with them after the transaction. You nurture them by providing relevant content. If they don’t get that from you, they are going elsewhere.

How to turn a website into a lead generation platform

For many agents, a website is just an online business card. However, when used correctly, it’s a filter that converts traffic to prospects. In order to achieve this, a website can’t just be a website. It will requires that actually generate traffic and also convert visitors.

When it comes to achieving success with marketing and social media, we have to remember that it’s all about going where the people are. That’s why we have to have visibility on Google, on Facebook and other marketing platforms. People who are looking to sell or buy don’t just spring up from nowhere. We must have systems and processes in place to nurture them, provide relevant valuable content, and convert them in preparation for when they are ready to buy or sell.
