Natural talent is important, but perseverance is an under-looked value that only the most dedicated people possess. Athletic Director at Stanford University, Bernard Muir and I chat about everything from his disciplined upbringing, to the secret sauce to his own successful career. Hard work, practice and self-confidence are major factors on the court (and in life too!), but through difficulties and disappointment, it is important to be able to bounce back every single time.
