Knock, knock, Neo. Think Agents are a thing of the future? Look again at the iconic movie, The Matrix—they've been hiding in plain sight. In the first episode of 2025, hosts Ron Tolido, Weiwei Feng, and Robert Engels venture down the digital rabbit hole of Virtual Twins with Morgan Zimmerman, CEO of NETVIBES at Dassault Systèmes. It’s a fascinating world where physical science meets data science, a world of both red and blue pills. Virtual Twins take the concept of Digital Twins to the next level, transforming static representations of products, devices, and systems into living, breathing "Dream Theaters" of simulations, predictions, and what-if scenarios. Fueled by AI and immersive technology, they don’t just capture life—they reimagine it. But what happens when Virtual Twins evolve to encompass entire organizations and industries? Imagine bending not just spoons, but entire realities. The Matrix has you—are you ready to see how deep the twin-powered innovation goes? You're in The Matrix ! Tune into our latest Data-powered Innovation Jam podcast episode now! Timestamps: 00:35 – Ron and Robert dive into the iconic world of The Matrix , drawing parallels to digital innovation. 04:55 – Morgan shares insights into Dassault Systèmes' legacy and the evolution of Virtual Twins. 10:00 – Exploring the connection between ontologies and their applications in the real world. 20:03 – How Digital Twins, Virtual Twins, and the Metaverse are transforming real-world use cases. 36:15 – Redefining interaction with the digital world in ways that feel natural yet futuristic. In this episode, Erik and I talk about the Camino de Santiago and share when and why we will be doing the 800 km pilgrimage to Santiago, Spain. If you are listening to this podcast on my KG Tris Triathlon Podcast feed in iTunes, please consider searching for the feed for my new podcast. I will only be double posting the podcasts until mid August, 2015. You can subscribe to the new show by searching for "Kelownagurl's Adventures" in iTunes, or on Spreaker here . Thank you!! ~Barb ********************** Here's the info I shared in the first post on July 9, 2015. I am starting a new podcast with a new direction. It's called "Kelownagurl's Adventures: Travel and Fitness into Retirement" . A WARNING - there will be MUCH less triathlon talk on the new show, so check out the list of new content below and see if you might be interested in listening to the new show. Because I plan to use Spreaker to post my episodes, it will have a new feed and will be limited to 30 minute episodes. I will post the link to the new iTunes feed as soon as it is live. For the first month, I plan to double post the episodes on my old KG Tris feed (here) in case any of my previous listeners are interested in following me to the new show. However, I urge you to subscribe to the new feed as soon as possible so you don't miss any episodes. New topics will include: * Travel talk (general chatter about our travels) * Travel tips (tips and tricks we have learned along the way) * Fitness talk (things Erik and I are doing to keep fit - focus on running, hiking, and biking) * Retirement (general talk about my transition from being a full time teacher to retirement (follow me as I make this transition in April 2016) * Preparation and planning for our 3 month trip to Europe (April-July 2016) * Training and preparation for our 800km walk along the Way of St James - the Camino de Santiago in May 2016 * Food, wine, and life in general! Hello everyone, I'm taking this opportunity to try using my iphone to record a mini episode using ipadio. I wasn't sure how far to hold the phone away from my face so the volume might not be quite right and I didn't tweak the sound quality in any way so it is what it is. However, the purpose of this mini episode it to let you know that when I went to post episode #112 last Sunday, I found my account at Mevio had been suspended. Apparently they are going in a new direction and without any warning at all, they suspended all accounts that weren't advertising with them. Luckily for me, I only store my shows on their server and don't use their feed service so I was able to store #112 on Dropbox (for now) and this new mini-episode on ipadio. For now, all of my old shows are still accessible to itunes from Mevio but I'm not sure how long it will be before they delete them so I am looking for a new place to store them, and I have created an account on archive.org which looks promising. As soon as I have time, I am going to uploaded all my old shows to the new server and then I will have to change the link on the blog for each episode so hopefully I can get that done soon. If you have just subscribed to the show and none of the old episodes are showing up, that is probably why. Be patient and as soon as I can, I will get things straightened out. Thanks for your patience! Barb…
