Christian Nationalism is one of the most hotly debated subjects in America right now with liberals using the term to demonize any form of government that reflects Christian values and mores.

This week, 1819 News: The Podcast is publishing the Overtime segment our CEO Bryan Dawson recorded with Pastor Douglas Wilson that digs right into the topic. It’s just too good not to share.

Not long ago, Western civilization and America believed that the Church provided moral guidance while the State had the duty of establishing law and order which reflected those moral precepts.

Some will say that to do so creates a theocracy because religious values would inform the state’s actions. What seems to be forgotten in our times is that there is no such thing as a “values-neutral” government. All laws and actions are informed by values, by a moral order. While the Left’s moral order is not rooted in a religious tradition like Christianity or Islam, it is still a moral order that they are working hard to enshrine into law, forcing it upon the people through the power of government.

As uncomfortable as it may be for some Americans, we must realize that a moral order will be reflected in our federal, state, and local governments. The question is, “Which one?”

If you’ve wanted to learn more about Christian Nationalism and the reality of values- based government, this podcast is the one for you.
