Des Moines University Medical and Health Sciences Division is home of the second osteopathic school to open up in the United States and the 15th largest medical school in the country. The dean, Angela Franklin, is a licensed clinical psychologist who completed her PhD at Emory University followed by a clinical internship at Grady Memorial Hospital.
