Lauren Boebert has settled a lawsuit for an undisclosed sum with the political action committee that claimed she had previously worked as an escort. But Boebert isn't getting paid - she was the one that was sued by the group after she threatened to sue them and defamed them, according to the judge. American Muckrakers stands by the main allegations of their story, even though they admitted that some of the items they had posted turned out to be incorrect.
Also, Steve Bannon reported for his 4-month prison sentence on Monday, but before he could surrender himself, Marjorie Taylor Greene had an epic meltdown about justice finally being served. Greene got on social media to talk about what a "disgrace" it is that a "patriot" like Bannon is going to jail because of President Biden. None of those words make any sense, but that's what we've come to expect from Marge.
And Lindsey Graham went completely off the rails during an appearance on CNN this past weekend. When he was asked about the threat of "retribution" should Trump win the election, Graham enthusiastically said YES, and he then laid out some of the items that Republicans are going to prosecute if they get the chance. These people might be genuinely insane at this point, and they are happily admitting that solving actual problems doesn't matter to them.
Finally, Nancy Pelosi appeared on MSNBC early Sunday morning to talk about Donald Trump's nonstop string of lies during the Presidential debate, which included at least 30 false statements. Trump apparently spent the rest of the day trying to craft a response to Pelosi, which he finally delivered shortly past midnight. But, as usual, Trump's response was also filled with lies and crazy statements, just like his debate performance.
