IMG Academy’s Head of Mental Conditioning, Lindsey Hamilton, joins Glenn on the Field to discuss how using imagery and visualization in your mental preparation can help increase confidence and enhance athletic performance. Lindsey shares why athletes use visualization techniques to improve physical and psychological reactions and how repeated imagery practices can build both experience and confidence in an athlete's ability to perform certain skills under pressure. She also discusses how these methods helped her to become a 2x National Soccer Champion and how her role as a mental conditioning coach benefited over 1,400 high school aged student-athletes across eight sports teams achieve their goals, both on- and off-the-field.
