EP105: Thomas Crooks Thought Lee Oswald Was Lone Gunmen - Gracearchy with Jim Babka
Manage episode 431857910 series 3498664
The alleged Trump shooter, Thomas Crooks, thought that Lee Oswald was the Lone Gunmen. Where would he get such an idea? Jefferson Morley, with JFK Facts, notes that "When Gerald Posner and the New York Times reference JFK, they actually encourage baseless Trump conspiracy theories."
Our own Jim Babka reviewed Posner's recent column in the New York Times, and he thinks that the problem might even be worse than that!
The day after Posner's piece appeared, FBI Director Christopher Wray testified to Congress. There, he announced that Thomas Crooks had researched the distance from Oswald's alleged six-floor perch to JFK's limo.
Apparently, Thomas Crooks thought that Lee Oswald Was the lone gunmen! So, did Posner's theory empower and encourage Crooks? And what if Posner is just wrong?
Maybe ignoring all of the evidence since the Warren Commission is mimetically dangerous!
