Resident expert Courtney takes the reigns on this episode as we talk some more about hormones, but this time specifically looking at our adrenal glands. We talk about the theory of adrenal fatigue. We talk about two hormones that are secreted by our adrenal glands: cortisol and epinephrine (aka adrenaline), which are related to stress.
In this episode, Courtney shares her own battle with adrenal fatigue that she healed with the help of a holistic nutritionist. You will learn some signs and symptoms of adrenal dysfunction. Courtney also breaks down several ways we can support our adrenal glands (and overall hormone health) that is good for everyone to hear.
