Alice Aycock defies being a trailblazer, innovator, and rule breaker today by challenging traditional definitions of art and expanding the possibilities of the artistic expression. She is a renowned American artist, especially known for her large scale abstract sculptural installations, as well as drawings and models. Her work spans a wide range of media and often explores themes related to architecture and design, engineering, nature, and the human experience. Her large-scale outdoor sculptures that can be found in various public spaces, art institutions and airports around the world. Her works often challenge viewers to reconsider their relationship with the environment and the spaces they inhabit.
