TRIGGER WARNING - I talk about SUICIDE, so only listen, if you feel in the right mental place to do so.

Hello beautiful people, how are you today?

This episode is not as fun as usually as it talks about a very serious topic: suicide.

I had been struggling with suicidal thoughts for a long time and my life changed after an attempt in 2020.

After my suicidal attempt in 2020 I found a life purpose for myself, something that keeps me alive, even in my worst days, because I feel obliged to fulfill this purpose and that there is meaning in my suffering.

This is when I developed the ideas for this podcast, the exact founding mission was the following:

"I want people to survive, rise and thrive. By inspiring the world with my own story I want to prevent people from ending their lives (as many as I can!). I am willing to become master of my own darkness - So I can teach people how tame their monsters."

The idea of a creating a bigger purpose/meaning as the primary motivational force in life, comes from Viktor Frankl, who is the founder of Logotherapy and Existential Analysis. He survived the terrible circumstances of a Nazi concentration camp because he believed in a bigger meaning which enabled him to endure the suffering.

I strongly believe that my dark days and everything bad that has happened in my life was meant to happen, so that I could be at the point I am right now.

When I think back to traumatizing experiences and then see what grew out of them, like a lotus flower growing in the dirt, I feel not only impressed but grateful for these events. Because I strongly believe, that life had to force me into certain bad situations and horrible mental states so I could see that the life I was living right now was not the life I am supposed to live.

I wish for this episode to inspire you to keep fighting, to find meaning in your suffering, to know you are not alone, whatever you are experiencing right now and whatever you are going through right in this moment of your life.

If you are struggeling with suicidal thoughts, please try to remember that life is beautiful and dark thoughts, moments or phases in life ALWAYS pass. NOTHING is permanent, you are incredibly strong and the world needs your light. I swear it does! You came to this earth for a reason, I repeat THE WORLD NEEDS YOU.
You are loved and appreciated.
