Emma Mickle was in a freak accident while hiking in NZ that changed her life forever and we are so grateful to be able to share her story with you.
On 10 December, she embarks on an epic 1000km (620 miles) bike ride to raise awareness for spinal cord injuries (SCIs). All money raised goes to SpinalCure Australia, a not-for-profit organisation advocating for grants to fund research on a cure for SCIs. Did you know that around 250,000 - 500,000 people suffer an SCI every year? In Australia alone, there’s 1 new case every day on average. Experts say that a cure could be as close as 5-7 years away so every dollar counts right now!
