MiniPod One: 1st August 2008: the first of many “minipods” of funk, as Deek Deekster breaks with podcasting tradition to present a lunchtime feature on the DeepBlueFM‘s Martyn “The Hat” Lunchtime show.

To coincide with the Beijing Olympics, we are running a competition with Komodo, the designers of the official FREE TIBET CAMPAIGN t-shirt. It’s very simple: BUY the garment(s), then make a video or take a picture of you (and your friend!) wearing the t-shirt(s) whilst doing something SPECTACULARLY SPORTING or SPORTY (please don’t injure yourselves!)

Send it in, and you could win a delicious night out for two at a Chinese Restaurant!

NB: I am not benefiting financially from t-shirt sales. I am doing this because I think the t-shirts are cool and Komodo are donating 20% of their sale price to the Free Tibet Campaign. I think China needs to be held to account over their treatment of the Tibetans and other dissenting voices in China.

TERMS: All entries will be judged by me and the winner will be chosen at my personal discretion. My decision will be final. I make no warranty as to the t-shirts whatsoever. All activities conducted wearing the t-shirts are entirely at your own risk. We get to choose the restaurant (it won’t be crap!) we pay for the food, and you get to buy the booze. What do you expect? This is raising money for a good cause!
