Tommi Vincent is a chef, motivational speaker, entrepreneur, and writer best known as the matriarch of VINCENT COUNTRY, a lifestyle movement created to inspire, uplift and reflect positive family images. She is also the wife of Troy Vincent, Executive Vice President of NFL Football Operations and former All-Pro NFL cornerback. Tommi has built an exemplary family and diverse career around faith-filled leadership and community development. However, before she met her husband of over 25 years, Tommi grew up believing domestic violence was just an acceptable way of life. It wasn’t until she almost lost her life that she had to realize the patterns in her life weren’t serving her. Committed to eradicating domestic violence through awareness, prevention, and education, Tommi sits on the Board of the National Domestic Violence Hotline. In this episode, Tommi shares her powerful journey of strength, struggle and breaking the cycle of abuse. She also shares some invaluable insight into the mindset of an abuse victim and ways we can all help.
