Oof! This is a biggie. It's common to eat as a way to cope when someone else has triggered us or as a way to people-please.
In this episode, I dive into how these two things can be at play in our eating habits and how they can be a significant factor in us eating more food than we need for fuel -- leaving us feeling overweight, uncomfortable in our jeans, and not knowing how to change things without changing how other people act (which is hopelessly impossible).
I give you ways to start moving out of these familiar eating patterns and behaviours so that you can create something new for yourself -- the rewards of which will far exceed the temporary pleasure you get from the food itself. Seriously. Things like: peace and freedom around food; rock solid confidence; less time spent trying to control what other people do and don't do; more power to get on with the things that truly light you up.
This can be a huge factor in making you consistent with following your plan so please do have a listen and let me know if you have any questions! You can always email me: sally@sallywebstercoaching.com
