We talk with John NIchols, national affairs correspondent for The Nation.
We discuss the lack of endorsements by the LA Times and the Washington Post. Is this fear of Trump and his threats to retaliate? Billionaires appear to be afraid. The status quo is comfortable for billionaires, perhaps they are supporting Trump in this way: refuse to endorse Harris. We also look at the decrease in the number of local papers and how this makes the actions of the large papers that much more important to readers. We note that the NY Times has not endorsed anyone in local elections.
