Hey coffee lovers: check out this new episode of the Sip Bite Go podcast with Emanuele Bizzarri, the owner of Caffé Umbria Italian Coffee Roasters. He’s a 3 generation coffee roaster from Italy who has tips on how you can enjoy coffee the best.
We chat about how his grandfather started coffee roasting in Umbria, Italy, when he came back from prison camp. How he met a woman in Perugia, Italy, and decided to move to the United States to open a coffee shop. First they thought to open a new coffee shop in San Francisco with a little roasting facility.
But even back then San Francisco was very expensive.
And so he decided to start in Seattle and now has shops all over, including in my local city - Portland, Oregon. (Check out one of the best Portland restaurants for a date night: Mediterranean Exploration Company)
