Safety as a solo traveling woman should always be on our minds, even during the planning stages.
In Episode 12, I offer 10 Safe countries that are safe for solo female travelers.

Consider these 3 criteria before picking a destination, especially as a new solo traveler.
1) Go to a place where they speak your native language. You will have one less barrier and found yourself less anxious because you are able to communicate with others easily.
2) Go on a road trip. I feel more confident when i take a road trip because it's my vehicle, I can take what I need (packing-wise) and even leave a place if I don't feel safe.
3) Go where there are lots of people. Traveling to a remote area can be challenging and create anxiety. When your destination is a populated area, you can feel safer as there are more people to maybe ask directions or questions.
