In this episode I tell you about my experience with a UVA research study designed to test a Fully Closed Loop (FCL) insulin delivery system with meal anticipation (FCL+). This is different to the likes of Control IQ in that you don't have to manually bolus! A complex algorithm is used in the DIAS application on a phone which speaks to the pump and gives it directions! How cool is that?! Listen in to hear my experience and learn more about the system.

How to aid Ukraine: https://www.idf.org/news/255:idf-member-direct-relief-mobilises-to-provide-emergency-health-supplies-in-ukraine.html and https://www.doctorswithoutborders.org/
Disclaimer: I (Daniel Halliman) am not a medical professional. I have had Type 1 Diabetes for nearly 15 years and simply speak from my own experiences. Please seek a medical professional when making any decisions related to your health and wellness.
